How the practice is COVID safe

During these continuing challenging times, I am pleased that I can continue to provide you with my usual high level of treatment for your aches and pains.

Within the practice I remain highly vigilant, maintaining public health responsibilities, putting stringent infection control processes in place to help protect my patients.

The Patient Journey

From the moment you decide to make an appointment, I have set out a process to keep contact at a minimum, keep patients apart and minimise touch points.

For new patients or injuries, where possible, I will undertake as much of the initial pre-screening interview over the phone. I will check each patient for Coronavirus symptoms and potential exposure.

I have reduced the volume of patients I see on a day-to-day basis and have allowed extra time between patients for cleaning to to keep all areas sterile.

I will always leave the gate open, and the door where possible, so entering and leaving the clinic is virtually touch-free. Hand sanitiser is provided both in the waiting room and the treatment room for your use.

The use of PPE

All my PPE equipment is single use and replaced between each appointment. During treatment, an apron and face masks are worn. For closer face-to-face treatments, a plastic face shield may be used.

I sanitise my hands before every new appointment and regularly during the treatment when contact has been made.

Air purifiers

As air circulation is an important part of being COVID secure, I have invested in a new Rensair Air Purifier. These are hospital-grade and through their powerful UVC lamp they kill 99.97% of airborne viruses. The unique patented design means that the UVC light continuously disinfects the filter, resulting in a safer product.

Heightened Levels of Hygiene

To maintain a high-level of hygiene within the practice, the waiting and treatment rooms have been given a mini-makeover, de-cluttering the areas and installing laminate wood flooring, allowing easier and regular sanitisation procedures.

And with the new state of the art treatment couch in place, you can be assured you will receive the best treatment in a safe environment.
